The JFA team is excited to be launching the new JFA aviation sales division. With backgrounds in aviation and extensive experience in yachting, the JFA team is ready to apply these values to aviation sales, aiming to bring transparency and integrity to the industry.
This past year, in addition to preparing for the introduction of the aviation branch, JFA has completed a rebrand with Relevance, and is currently upgrading to a faster, more user-friendly website.
Emerging Trends in Yachting
Each year, JFA attends the Monaco Yacht Show to stay updated on upcoming trends in the global yachting industry. Applications of artificial intelligence in yachting continue to emerge. Another emerging trend is the increasing size of catamarans. With bigger new
builds continuing to grow in popularity, marinas are adapting to accommodate these new vessel sizes.
The new Tier III regulations have brought design challenges for new build projects. At the beginning of a new project, speed and range must be taken into consideration, as they dictate not only the engine choice, but the size of the unit that scrubs the exhaust. The engine room needs to be re-engineered to accommodate this new technology and comply with the Tier III requirements.
